Baldwin de was born about 1102 in Isle of Wight, Hampshire, England.  Baldwin de's father was Richard Seigneur de Reviers and his mother was Adelise Peverel.  His paternal grandparents were William Seigneur de Vernon and Emma Fitz Osbern; his maternal grandparents were William "The Elder" Peverel , of Nottingham and Adeline. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert De, William de, Hugh, Hawise (Maud) de, Avis De, Avis de and Joan De.  He was the second youngest of the eight children.  He died on June 4th, 1155 in Exeter, Devonshire, England.  He was buried in Quarr Abbey, Ryde, Isle of Wight, England.1

‌Baldwin de and Adelise Lucia De were married in a religious ceremony about 1117 in England.  They had three sons and four daughters, named Richard De, Henry De, William De, Hawise De, Matilda (Eva) De, Eva De and Alice De.
