Robert II Capet "the Pious" was born on March 27th, 0971 in Orléans, France.  Robert II Capet "the Pious"'s father was Hugh Capet King of France and his mother was Adelaide de Poitou.  His paternal grandparents were Hugues "Magnus" de Neustria Count of Paris and Hadwig von Sachsen; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume II "le Juene" Count of Auvergne and Adele de Normandie. He had three sisters named Adwige (Avoise) Capet, Gisele Capet and Adele Capet.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother named Gauzlin.  He died at the age of 60 on July 20th, 1031 in Meulan, Aquitaine, France.  He was buried after July 20th, 1031 in St. Denis, France.
