Hallad Ragnvaldssøn Jarl of Orkney

Hallad Ragnvaldssøn was born in 0850 in of Maer, Nord-Trondelag, Norway.  Hallad Ragnvaldssøn's father was Ragnvald I Eysteinssøn "the Wise" Jarl of Maer and his mother is Groa. He had two brothers named Turf-Einar Ragnvaldssøn and Hrollaug.  He is the oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers named Hrollager (Hrollaug), Thori Ragnvaldsson the Silent, Ivar and Rolf (Rollo) "Wend-a-Foot".
