Rotrude (Hildegarde) Princess of was born about 0803 in France.1   Rotrude (Hildegarde) Princess of's father was Emperor of the West Louis I "The Pious", Emperor of The West and her mother was Ermengard Princess of Hesbaye.  Her paternal grandparents were Holy Roman Emperor of West Charlemagne and of Swabia, Holy Roman Empress Hildegarde; her maternal grandparents were Duke of Hesbaye Ingeramne, Duke of Hesbaye and Judith of Bavaria. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Holy Roman Emperor, I, King of Aquitaine, 'The German', King of the East Franks, Adelaide and Matilda Princess of. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named "The Bald" Holy Roman Emperor, Princess of France and Gisele of.  She died on August 23rd, 0860.1
