Her paternal grandfather was Count Luitfride II Count of Upper Alsace and her paternal grandmother is Countess of Upper Alsace Hiltrude; her maternal grandparents were Duke of Hesbaye Ingeramne, Duke of Hesbaye and Judith of Bavaria. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Count of Bourges, Luitfried III Count of Upper, Bertha of, Ermengarde of and Adelaide of. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died in 0851 in trasbourg,Bas-Rhin,Alsace,France. She was buried in Erstein Abbey, Strasbourg.2 3 General Notes
