Phillip De Montgomery 
Phillip was born about 1056. Phillip's father was Roger De Montgomery Earl of Shrewsburg and his mother was Mabel Talvas Countess of Shrewbury. His paternal grandparents were Roger De Montgomery Vicomte d'Hiemois and Josceline De Ponteaudeme; his maternal grandparents were William II Talvas Prince of Belleme and Hildeburge de Beaumont. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert II, Arnulf, Maud, Mabel and Sibyl. He is the second oldest of the six children. He had three half-brothers named Roger De Poitou, Hugh and Robert II [De Talvas].-
