Katherine's father was "Knight" Christopher Chevers "Lord of Tartaya Cnty Meath" and her mother is Maude Kelly. Her paternal grandparents are Walter Sir Chevers and Eleanor St. Lawrence; her maternal grandfather is Walter Kelly "Alderman". She had four brothers and a sister, named John, Patrick, Thomas, Walter and Katherine. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Ellis, Janet, Margaret, Elenor and Ella.
