Eleanor was born about 1311 in Grismond Castle, , Monmouth, Wales.  Eleanor's father was Henry Of Lancaster III Earl and her mother was Maud De Chaworth.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Plantagenet Of Lancaster Earl and Blanche Of Artois; her maternal grandparents were Patrick De Chaworth Sir and Isabel De Beauchamp. She had three sisters named Maud, M and Joan.  She died on January 11th, 1372 in Arundel, , Sussex, England.  She was buried in 1372.
