Robert I was born about 1123. Robert I's father was Louis VI Of France King and his mother was Adelaide Of Savoy. His paternal grandparents were Philip I Of France King and Bertha Of Holland; his maternal grandparents were Humberto II Of Maurienne Count and Gisela Of Burgundy. He had two brothers and a sister, named Louis VII, Piere I and Constance. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died on October 11th, 1188 in Saint Ives, , , France.
