Hedwig Of Ascania 
Hedwig was born about 1131 in Brandenburg. Hedwig's father is Albert I The Of Saxony Duke and her mother is Sophia Of Wizenburg. Her paternal grandfather was Otto Of Anhalt Count and her paternal grandmother is Eilice Of Saxony Countess; her maternal grandparents were Hermann I Of Winzenburg Count and Hedwig Of Windberg Countess. She had four brothers and a sister, named Hermann I, Otto I, Albrecht, Bernard III and Gertrud (Sybilla). She was the third youngest of the six children. She died in March 1203. She was buried in 1203.-
