Johann Philip Yaple 
Johann Philip was born on May 2nd, 1770 in Upper Milford Township, Northampton County (later Lehigh), Pennsylvania. Johann Philip's father was Phillip Henrich Yaple and his mother was Susanna Weske. His paternal grandparents are Wolfgang Christian Jeppel and Anna Apollonia Wilhelm; his maternal grandfather is Jean Phillip Vesquea. He has four brothers and a sister, named Jacob, Johan Nicholas, Johannes, Johann Christian and Maria. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Johan Adam, Johann Henry, Peter, Heinrich, David, Anna Maria and Maria Elizabeth.-
