David Volck

David was born on November 23rd, 1746 in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. David's father was Jacob Daniel Folk and his mother was Mary Dewees. His paternal grandparents were Andreas Volck and Anna Catharina Meckel. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Johannes, Wilhelm, Daniel, Carl, Maria, Benigna and Dorothea. He is the third oldest of the eight children.
