Martha Vineyard 
Martha was born in May 1860 in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Martha's father was John Vineyard and her mother was Sarah Jane Shaver. Her paternal grandfather was Pressley Vineyard; her maternal grandparents were John David Shaver and Mary Parsons. She has six brothers and three sisters, named John W. Bennett, Andrew Jackson, Henry M., John R., James P., Lewis, Mary E., Sophena and Sarah E.. She is the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
