Abel Tryon 
Abel was born about 1682 in Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut. Abel's father was William Tryon and his mother was Mary Steele. His paternal grandparents were William Tryon and UNKNOWN Rebecca; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Steele and Mary Boosey. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Zybah, David, Sarah, Elizabeth and Mabel. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Abial, Rowland, William and Rachel. He died on January 29th, 1761 in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut. He was buried in Farm Hill Yard Cemetery, Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut.General Notes
