Her maternal grandfather was Samuel Jefferson Shaver. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Elmer Theodore, Charles Montgomery, Winifred Irene, Beatrice Sybil and Adeline Emily. She died at the age of 65 on December 19th, 1986 in San Lorenzo, California.-
