William Kent Sutton 
William Kent was born on March 6th, 1951 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota.1 William Kent's father was Lewis Waldon Sutton and his mother is Helen Jeanette Bjorlie. His paternal grandparents were William Fenton Sutton and Cora Adelia Shaffer; his maternal grandparents were Olaf Alfred Bjorlie and Louise Mathilda Enstad. He had two brothers and a sister, named Living, Living and Living. He died at the age of 43 on May 20th, 1994 in St. Luke's (Meritcare) Hospital. Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota. William Kent Sutton, 43, Hunter,died Friday, May 20, 1994 , in Fargo.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, at First
Lutheran Church, Hunter. Rev. Paul Guldseth will officiate. Music will
be provided by organist Kristi Gebeke and soloist Christy Larson.
Pallbearers are Kevin Anderson, Randy Moen, Kurt Jorgensen, Mike Utt,
Kevin Jordan, David Jorgensen, Donald McPherson and Jim Sinness.
Interment is in Hunter Cemetery. Sutton was born March 6, 1951, in
Fargo, the son of Lewis and Helen (Bjorlie) Sutton. He grew up in
Hunter, graduating from Dakota High School in 1969. He graduated from
North Dakota State University in Fargo in 1973 and taught school in
Forman for a year and in Argusville for a year. He began working in 1979
for the Cass County Reporter in Casselton, where he was the sports
editor. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Hunter, the Eagles
Club in Fargo, North Dakota Coaches Association and the North Dakota
Officials Association. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, music, traveling
and reading. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Helen and Virgil
Karmgard of Fargo; two brothers, Robert (Claudette) Sutton, Fargo, and
Dr. Ross (Joanne) Sutton, Vadnais Heights, MN; and a sister, Linda
(Timothy) Folk, Moorhead. Lindsey-Carlson Funeral Home, Page, was in
charge of arrangements.
