Margaret Critton 
Margaret was born about 1805 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Margaret's father was John Jr Critton and her mother was UNKNOWN Barbara. Her paternal grandparents were John Sr. Critton and UNKNOWN Mary. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Issac, John III, George, Jacob, Wiiliam, Sarah, Rebecca, Cresida, Elizabeth and Mary. She died on September 8th, 1847 in Peoria County, Illinois. She was buried in Black Farm, Peoria County, Illinois.General Notes

(wkerns4@@home.com believes that Margaret was probably a daughter of John
Jr. and Barbara Critton but there are no wills or documents that prove
her parentage. She could also be the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth
Critton (John Jr.'s brother and his wife). There was also were other
Crittons in the same general area so more research is needed in the local
area if possible.
