Josephine B. was born on December 26th, 1849 in Marion County, West Virginia. Josephine B.'s father was William Shaver and her mother was Josina Hill. Her paternal grandparents were John Shaver and Leah Norris. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Napoleon Bonaparte, Benjamin Franklin, William Parker, Luther H., Sylvanus L., Winfield Scott, James Otis, Elizabeth, Rosina R. and Helen Virginia. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She died after 1871.-
