William B. Shaffer 
William B. was born on April 8th, 1896. William B.'s father was Marcus Lafayette Shaffer and his mother was Salley Sarah Christopher. His paternal grandparents were LaFayette M. Shaver and Eliza Virginia Martin. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Lawrence Vinton, Ernest Ira, Charles Patrick, Dayton, Marcus Lafayette Jr., Jesse S., Biddie, Lizzie and Mary. He died at the age of 52 on June 3rd, 1948.-
