Lawrence Vinton was born on January 1st, 1888. Lawrence Vinton's father was Marcus Lafayette Shaffer and his mother was Salley Sarah Christopher. His paternal grandparents were LaFayette M. Shaver and Eliza Virginia Martin. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Ernest Ira, Charles Patrick, William B., Dayton, Marcus Lafayette Jr., Jesse S., Biddie, Lizzie and Mary. He died at the age of 30 on October 29th, 1918.-
