Julius Augustus Owen 
Julius Augustus was born on April 23rd, 1769 in Salisbury, Litchfield County, Connecticut. Julius Augustus' father was Elijah Owen and his mother was Olive Beeman. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Owen and Margaret Woodworth; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Beeman and Margaret Chapman. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Herman, Elijah, Elisha, Ambrose, Ethan, Ira, Patience, Electa, Esther, Ann, Lois and Olive. He had a half-brother and six half-sisters, named Elijah Jr., Sarah, Phebe, Hulda, Patience, Naomi and Naomi. He died at the age of 80 in 1849.-
