Margaret Hiatt 
Margaret was born on January 9th, 1778 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Margaret's father was Evan Hiatt and her mother was Sarah Smith. Her paternal grandparents were John Jr. Hiatt and Margaret Stephens; her maternal grandparents are Jeremiah Smith and Mary Elizabeth. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, John, Jonathan, Jeremiah Sr., Mary, Elizabeth, Ann, Sarah and Martha. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 68 on September 9th, 1846 in Hampshire County, West Virginia. She was buried in Old McDonald Cemetery on Kennedy Farm near North River-Ice Mountain, Pine Mountain, Virginia.-
