William Douglas 
William was born after 1390 in Lochleven, Scotland. William's father was Archibald Douglas and his mother is Margaret Stuart. His paternal grandparents were Archibald the Grim Douglas and Joan Moray; his maternal grandparents were Robert III Stewart of Scotland and Annabella Drummond. He had two brothers and a sister, named Archibald, James and Elizabeth. He is the second oldest of the four children.-
