Eli Crosiar 
Eli was born on December 15th, 1819 in Cap au Gray,Illinois. Eli's father was Simon Crosiar and his mother was Sarah H. Owen. His paternal grandparents were John Simon Crosiar and Jane Hert; his maternal grandparents were Amasa Owen and Sarah Osborn. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Amasa Owen, Simon, William, Jacob, Asa, Mary Ann and Sarah Ann. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 23 on May 15th, 1843 in Utica, Illinois Drowned in Illinois River boating accident.General Notes
