Asa Crosiar 
Asa was born about 1835 in La Salle County, Illinois. Asa's father was Simon Crosiar and his mother was Sarah H. Owen. His paternal grandparents were John Simon Crosiar and Jane Hert; his maternal grandparents were Amasa Owen and Sarah Osborn. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Amasa Owen, Eli, Simon, William, Jacob, Mary Ann and Sarah Ann. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died after 1868 in Brown County, Kansas Territory.General Notes
According to Ted Cagley: " Asa was living in Kansas in 1876. It is not
known whether his marriage to Louisa HOLLAND occurred in Kansas or in
LaSalle County, Illinois."
