Michael Ervin Butcher

Michael Ervin was born in August 1839. Michael Ervin's father was John Anderson Butcher and his mother was Christina Alkire. His paternal grandparents were Balthasar Butcher and Elizabeth Bush; his maternal grandparents were John Alkire and Christina McCann. He had ten brothers and four sisters, named Gasper, Joseph Anderson, Jesse, Paulser, Lemuel D., Emmanuel, Granville A., Thomas P., John R., James Newton, Nancy Ann, Sarah, Elizabeth and Margaret Ann. He is the youngest of the fifteen children.
