Catherine Ankeny 
Catherine was born on February 28th, 1777 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Catherine's father was Peter Ankney and her mother was Rosina Bonnet. Her paternal grandparents were Dewalt Johan Ankney and Mary Jane Dorner; her maternal grandfather was Jean Bonnet. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Theobald, Isaac, Peter, John, Henry, Jacob, Isaac, Joseph, Elizabeth, Rosina and Susanna. She is the oldest of the twelve children.-
