Rosina Ankeny 
Rosina was born on December 22nd, 1794 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Rosina's father was Peter Ankney and her mother was Rosina Bonnet. Her paternal grandparents were Dewalt Johan Ankney and Mary Jane Dorner; her maternal grandfather was Jean Bonnet. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Theobald, Isaac, Peter, John, Henry, Jacob, Isaac, Joseph, Catherine, Elizabeth and Susanna. She was the third youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 50 on September 29th, 1845 in Washington Township, Johnson County, Iowa. She was buried in Pleasant Hill/Joe Town Cemetery, near Kalona, Johnson County, Iowa.General Notes
