Ruth E. was born on October 19th, 1900. Ruth E.'s father was William Christopher Brown and her mother was Lentz. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Brown and Ruth Ann Billingsley; her maternal grandparents are J. Henry Lents and Eliza R.. She had five brothers and two sisters, named James William, John, Tobe T., Robert Franklin, Oscar T., Gerty A. and Julia Hazel. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 96 in December 1996.-
