Gerty A. was born on September 29th, 1888. Gerty A.'s father was William Christopher Brown and her mother was Lentz. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Brown and Ruth Ann Billingsley; her maternal grandparents are J. Henry Lents and Eliza R.. She had five brothers and two sisters, named James William, John, Tobe T., Robert Franklin, Oscar T., Ruth E. and Julia Hazel. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 3 on August 8th, 1892. She was buried in August 1892 in Fred Cemetery, Poolville, TX.-
