John Benjamin was born on January 21st, 1892 in Marion Co., Kentucky.1 John Benjamin's father is Robert Lewis Whitlock and his mother was Sarah Ann Skaggs. His maternal grandfather was Benjamin Owen Skaggs and his maternal grandmother is Missouri Ann Carter. He had two brothers and a sister, named Roy Mitchell, Robert McKinley and Fannie L.. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 84 on August 1st, 1976 in Rock Falls, Whiteside Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
