William Owen Tutor 
William Owen was born on February 15th, 1890 in Harnett Co., North Carolina.1 William Owen's father was Alfred Young Tutor and his mother was Charlotte L. Honeycutt. His paternal grandparents were William Madison Tutor and Harriet Ligon; his maternal grandparents are Solomon Honeycutt and Dolly Unknown. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, James Braxton, Glover, Lemon Lee, Joanna, Phoebe, Magnolia T., Claudia Florence, Mary Etta and Mittie L.. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 93 in April 1983 in Dunn, Harnett Co., North Carolina.1 General Notes
