Waylon J. Tutor 
Waylon J. was born on August 31st, 1900.1 Waylon J.'s father was Andrew Jackson Tutor and his mother was Martha Ann Spence. His paternal grandparents were Marshall Andrew Tutor and Laura Jane Cotton; his maternal grandfather is Elisha A. Spence. He had a brother and a sister, named Phelbert Herndon and Ada E.. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 72 on February 26th, 1973 in Fuquay Varina, Wake Co., North Carolina. He was buried in Duncan Baptist Church.1 1 General Notes
