Marshall Andrew was born on May 17th, 1846.1 Marshall Andrew's father was Owen Young Tutor and his mother is Lucinda Dennis. His paternal grandparents were William Owen Tutor and Lucinda Senter; his maternal grandparents are Daniel Dennis and Rebecca Prince. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jefferson D., Richard Owen, James K., David Franklin, Nancy and Mary Eva. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
