Thomas Snider 
Thomas was born on August 6th, 1835 in Vermilion Co., Illinois.1 Thomas' father was Asa Barton Snider and his mother was Ann Uley. His paternal grandparents were Rudoph Snider and Mary Elizabeth Morgan. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, George, John, Michael, Asa, Barton, Elizabeth, Mary, Rebecca and Barbara. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, Moses, Davis, Rachael A. and Margaret. He died at the age of 83 on September 19th, 1918 in Vermilion Co., Illinois. He was buried in Springhill Cemetery, Danville.1 1 General Notes
