Alice Smalley

Alice was born in 1674 in Falmouth , Cumberland,  Maine.¹   Alice's father was Francis Smalley and her mother was Elizabeth Leighton.  Her paternal grandfather was Edward Smalley and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Shurt\Shirt; her maternal grandfather was Thomas Leighton and her maternal grandmother is Joanna Unknown. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Francis Jr., Samuel, Benjamin, Daniel, Mary and Elizabeth.  She is the second youngest of the eight children.

‌Alice and Unknown were married in a religious ceremony on April 19th, 1711.¹
