Sarah Josephine Skaggs

Sarah Josephine was born on December 13th, 1861.¹   Sarah Josephine's father was Dotson Elbert Skaggs and her mother is Mary Malinda Stapp.  Her paternal grandfather was William Brock Skaggs and her paternal grandmother is Nancy Warner. She has six brothers and two sisters, named William Joshua, John Calvin, Elbert Dotson, Charles, Oscar, George Ernest, Flora Catherine and Nancy Jane.  She is the second oldest of the nine children. She has a half-sister named Mary Frances Warren.
