John Rogers 
John was born on December 10th, 1797 in Pendleton Co., Virginia.1 John's father was Charles Rogers and his mother is Hannah Skidmore. His maternal grandparents are John Skidmore and Mary Magdalena Hinkle. He had four brothers and a sister, named Levi, Noah, Elijah, James and Margaret. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 74 on October 7th, 1872.1 General Notes
