Elijah Rogers

Elijah was born in 1809.¹   Elijah's father was Charles Rogers and his mother is Hannah Skidmore.  His maternal grandparents are John Skidmore and Mary Magdalena Hinkle. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Levi, Noah, James and Margaret.  He is the second youngest of the six children.

‌Elijah and Ellen were married in a religious ceremony in 1833.¹
