Samuel David Roberts 
Samuel David was born on April 10th, 1902 in Paint Rock, Concho Co., Texas.1 Samuel David's father was William Travis Roberts and his mother was Bula Viola Schofield. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Roberts and Martha Jane Boyles. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Andrew Carson, Thomas, Charles, Felix, Pangle Truman, Lizzie Martha, Lillian Ellie and Ora. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 86 on November 17th, 1988 in Abilene, Taylor Co., Texas. He was buried in Elmwood Memoraial Park, Abilene, Taylor Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
