William Travis Roberts 
William Travis was born on May 27th, 1877 in Novice, Coleman Co., Texas.1 William Travis' father was Andrew Jackson Roberts and his mother was Martha Jane Boyles. His paternal grandparents were Travis Roberts and Mary Ann Birtrong. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Joe Jackson, Monroe Franklin, Mary, Tenneesse (Teny), Rosa Monroe, Vergie, Etta, Silvey Jane, Effie and Viola. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 85 on February 17th, 1963 in Abilene, Taylor Co., Texas. He was buried in Bethel Cem., Funston Jones Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
