Lillian Ellie was born on October 18th, 1909 in Mena, Polk Co., Arkansas.1 Lillian Ellie's father was William Travis Roberts and her mother was Bula Viola Schofield. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Roberts and Martha Jane Boyles. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Andrew Carson, Thomas, Charles, Samuel David, Felix, Pangle Truman, Lizzie Martha and Ora. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 84 in October 1993 in Botaga, Red River Co., Texas.1 General Notes
