Matilda Ritchie 
Matilda was born on November 23rd, 1871 in Breathitt Co. Kentucky.1 Matilda's father was William Ritchie and her mother was Rebecca Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Grigsby Ritchie and Kissiah Smith. She had five sisters named Elizabeth, Kizzie, Rachel, Naomi and Rosanna. She was the second oldest of the six children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named David O., Manuel and Mary Jane. She died at the age of 80 on March 7th, 1952 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
