Elmira Ritchie 
Elmira was born in August 1897 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Elmira's father was Thomas Ritchie and her mother was Matilda Ritchie. Her paternal grandfather was Benjamin Ritchie and her paternal grandmother is Rose Ann Combs; her maternal grandparents were William Ritchie and Rebecca Smith. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Clerinda, Alexander, Fielding, Benjamin, Ruthenia and Loutisha. She is the third youngest of the seven children.General Notes
