William Charles Purcell 
William Charles was born on May 19th, 1825 in Ripley Co. Indiana.1 William Charles' father was Benjamin S. Purcell and his mother was Besty Anderson. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Purcell and Ann Brewer. He had three brothers and a sister, named Corneilus, Charles McLain, M. I. and Elizabeth. He had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Benjamin, Samuel Bruer, Aaron L., Peter Reisinger, Daniel Elisah, Calvin, Noah, Rachel Marie, Sarah Ann and Rebecca. He died at the age of 70 on April 28th, 1896 in Gatesville Coryell Co. Texas.1 General Notes
