Ida Alice Preston

Ida Alice was born on April 10th, 1868 in Allenville, Moultrie Co., Illinois.¹   Ida Alice's father was Booker Preston and her mother was Louisa Asbury.  Her paternal grandparents were Moses Preston and Agathy Simmons. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Olander Webb, Pendelton Douglas 'PD', Charles Edward, Ora Belle and Catherine.  She was the third youngest of the six children. She had eight half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Calvin Luther, George Elexander, Patrick Henry, John David, Albiam Alcey, William Morgan, Eugene P., Sempronius, Frances Jane and Alea Ann.  She died at the age of 65 on November 18th, 1933.¹ 

‌Ida Alice and Oliver Cromwell were married in a religious ceremony on October 20th, 1889 in Allenville, Moultrie Co., Illinois.¹   They had three sons named Dusty, Harvey Vernon and Leroy.
