Frances Jane Preston

Frances Jane was born on September 17th, 1844.¹   Frances Jane's father was Booker Preston and her mother was Mary S. Ferguson.  Her paternal grandparents were Moses Preston and Agathy Simmons; her maternal grandparents are Booker Ferguson and Mary Unknown. She had eight brothers and a sister, named Calvin Luther, George Elexander, Patrick Henry, John David, Albiam Alcey, William Morgan, Eugene P., Sempronius and Alea Ann.  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Olander Webb, Pendelton Douglas 'PD', Charles Edward, Ida Alice, Ora Belle and Catherine.  She died at the age of 28 on June 5th, 1873.¹ 

‌Frances Jane and Jonathon were married in a religious ceremony on January 8th, 1867 in Moultrie Co., Illinois.¹   They had two sons and four daughters, named Jonathan, Jr., Henry, A., Josephine, Julia and Susan.
