Mary D. Paxton 
Mary D. was born on January 21st, 1791.1 Mary D.'s father was William Paxton and her mother was Jane Grigsby. Her maternal grandparents were John,3rd Grigsby and Elizabeth Porter. She had six brothers and nine sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, John, Samuel, Benjamin Porter, William,Jr., Betsey, Martha Patsy, Phoebe, Rachel, Sallie, Frances Jane, Agnes Ann, Hannah E. and Verlinda. She was the third oldest of the sixteen children. She died at the age of 68 in 1859 in Falling Spring, Rockbridge Co., Viriginia.1 General Notes
