James Newland Page 
James Newland was born in 1909 in Cormer, Roosevelt Co., New Mexico.1 James Newland's father was William Farmer Page and his mother was Lucy Alma Strickland. His paternal grandparents were John Calhoun Page and Mary Elizabeth Basham. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Theron B., William Floyd, John Marvin, Alma Lorene, Gladys Alpha, Velma, Geneva Louise and Ual. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 7 on June 15th, 1916 in Richland, Roosevelt Co., New Mexico.1 General Notes
