Her paternal grandparents were John R. Uncle Jack Megginson and Fanny Hodgkinson. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Cecil E., Alpha Jethro, Claud Dewey, Peter Dousland, Jesse Eugene, Bessie Mae, Maud Elizabeth, Sara Jane, Florence Mildred and Phyllis Irene. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 78 on October 1st, 1984 in Jacksonville, Morgan, IL. She was buried in Mem Lawn, Jacksonville.1 1 General Notes
